01/18/11 - stop SOPA!
today (all day wednesday) the taperecorder website went dark in suppourt of the anti-SOPA day of action. even though i know i am
a small musical fish on this big old world wide seaweb thing - i do know that something is happening. people are
sick and tired. for some people SOPA is just another governmental intrusion into our everyday lives and for others it is a
move by governments to try and control the flow of information on the internet (especially since it has been an essential
tool for protesters to organize, communicate, and break news to the masses that the mainstream media continues to ignore). i had to do something. i am
so proud to have been a part of a group of people who care enough to fight back. a group of people as far ranging as
'i can haz cheezburger' to 'wikipedia' to 'YourAnonNews'. please take the time to learn about this fucked up SOPA bill (and it's
evil twin bill PIPA) that people who have absolutely no fucking vision are trying to pass. read about it here!

hey all! i am on a mini tour of scotland and northern englad. aberdeen, glasgow, york, sheffield, edinburgh, (and then reykjavik on my way

12/01/11 - liquor demons video!
the video for liquor demons (featuring ill mestizo on vocals) has been compiled, edited, tweaked, laughed at, re-edited, retweaked,
nastified with vomit shots, and is now finally finished. you can watch the ridiculousness here!
also! december is a busy month in taperecorder land! i am excited to announce the release of a live album! it is actually three 14 minute clips
of live sets from three different cities in three different countries. speaking of countries, i am also doing a small week long tour in scotland and
england (with a stopover in iceland on the way back)! more info on the live record and tour over the next few days!

galactique have released the 2nd part of the galactique remix EP trilogy. i did a sort of acid house remix of 'my last life' by cosmo
memory. there is also a remix of jenn mierau by the mysterious and reclusive abulafia; teenwolf remixed making friendz (one of my
favourite remixes he has done); and a stripped down re-edit of a motrecarft song by one of their pals. Listen to

CJLO was voted the best college radio staion in north america by CMJ and the huffington post. taperecorder
